Nie~Nie aka Stephanie Nielsen and her husband, Christian were in a plane crash, last Saturday in St. John's Arizona. For those of you that know this sweet family(and even if you don't), I am posting the different ways that you can help. Her sister, Jane's blog is listed here and keeps everyone updated.
They are in the burn unit at Maricopa county. There is going to be a balloon event at the Arizona temple on Saturday, where they will launch balloons with your well wishes for this family. Keep them all in your prayers....

***Some of you may know that Steph and Christian have a family tradition of writing wishes on helium balloons to release them in the air (see: here). On Saturday, we'd like to invite people anywhere, everywhere to write thoughts of faith and hope to be released at the same time. (Nie is going to love this!) Lets do 5:00 AZ time (6:00 MST/7:00/Central/8:00/Eastern). Will you all take pictures of the release where you are and e-mail me so we can post them on Monday?

This is very sad! I don't know them personally but Christian's older sister was a friend of mine. Julie is his age and was in Acapella with him!

Cheryl, it touches my heart that this is on your blog. You are such a GREAT person! This accident really has made me stop, and thank my Heavenly Father for the blessings that I have. Steve, and I had a talk, night before last. We decided it was a good time to try a little harder, and do a little more. We just never know when Heavely Father is going to be ready for us. I want to be prepared. Eternity will be a wonderful thing! It is one of those accidents that another can learn from. We will be releasing our balloons tomorrow evening.
